Pray for the Hunts, Gomez’s and Bassetts during Acolyte

Gary Hunt, Francisco Gomez and Russ Bassett participated in the Rite of Acolyte on Saturday, November 17th.

During this special Rite of Acolyte service at the St John's Cathedral, their wives (Linna Hunt, Emma Gomez and Marta Bassett) joined in the procession with Bishop Ochoa. They carried in their husband's alb and later during the service, dressed their spouse in their liturgical vestment. As acolytes, these three men will then be a step closer to becoming a Permanent Deacon.
