Dear Jail Volunteers and Church Affiliations,
Every year we have several dedicated people who help with “Goodie” Bags for those who are incarcerated in the Tulare County Jails. The Holiday Season is an especially hard time for those who are in jail; so this simple act of kindness, could be the act that changes the way inmates look at the world. Each inmate receives a bottle of shampoo, a bag of cookies, and something on the Christmas story. Our dedicated volunteers deliver the items on Christmas Day.
We need help on several different levels and encourage you to get involved.
Homemade cookies – We need about 10,000. Cookies need to be delivered to Grace Community Church from December 16th to the 20th and be zip-lock sealed for freshness (please let the cookies cool before putting them in zip-lock bags or they will stick together.)
