Rabbis Rick Winer and Laura Novak Winer from Temple Beth Isreal in Fresno visited our parish's Deacon candidates class to show their Torah and give a closer look at Judaism.
The Torah is handwritten by one scribe and it takes one year to make. They cost 10 to $50,000 each. It's made of all natural materials handwritten using a feather and all natural ink. The attention to detail is amazing.
