Updated: May 24, 2018

100 New Catechists Needed For the 2018-2019 School Year

Our parish is in need of 100 new catechists! No experience needed for these volunteer positions. Training will be provided. Catechists will teach students from 1st through 12th grades for first communion, A Family of Faith and confirmation programs. We need teachers for all churches. Program class nights vary. Volunteers can also sign up to be assistants or help in other capacities like preparing snacks or helping with sign-ins, etc.

For the protection of all of our students, you must pass a fingerprint/background test to become a catechist and complete the diocesan Safe Environment training (available online). If interested, call Edie Loudermilk for English or Adriana Robles for Spanish at our parish office at 559-734-9522 or please attend our catechists informational meeting 10 a.m. June 2nd at the Parish Hall at 506 N. Garden St. No RSVP needed.

Please come and learn more about this exciting opportunity!
