Job Description: 

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for parishioners, visitors, and staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong commitment to the values of the Catholic faith. The receptionist provides administrative support, manages phone calls, assists with scheduling, and helps maintain efficient office operations.​

Qualifications & Requirements:​

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

  • Previous experience in office administration, customer service, or reception is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database management.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently.

  • Familiarity with the Catholic Church and its sacraments, ministries, and traditions is a plus.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Will occasionally enlist assistance in lifting larger objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
